My special education students need additional resources to help them master their individual goals. Many of my students need additional practice with counting, number recognition, and one to one correspondence. The Mini Motors and Bear counters will allow them to practice these math objectives with a hands-on approach. The Alphabet Acorns will be used to practice letter names, letter sounds, counting, and color matching. Fidgets, such as the Tangle, and flexible seating, such as the Portable Lap Desk, Bouncy Chair Bands, and Balance Balls, are beneficial in many ways to my students. Flexible seating provides students with choices in their day, as well as comfort that enables them to focus on their objective. The stimulation provided by flexible seating options can help many students focus and process information. By donating to this project, you are empowering my students to make choices about how they will learn. These resources will be used every day by my K-2 students in a resource setting. Thank you for helping my students start the year strong!
