In the music room, we move around for games, instruments, and learning. Forming a circle is always a challenge for young students. It is also difficult for students in K-5 to find an appropriate and safe place to sit during lesson learning time at the Smart Board. A place seating rug will make a big difference with classroom management and helping young students find an appropriate and safe place to sit. The music place seating rug is ideal for the music room because it uses music symbols for students to sit on. Throughout the year, students will learn the names and meanings of the symbols simply by learning their assigned place! This particular rug also has a large staff in the center that we can use for learning music notation!
