SMS has been collaborating with Shelburne Farms and the Shrewsbury Institute for Agricultural Education to become an Education for Sustainability School. Our hope is to use the big ideas of sustainability to help our students ask important questions, complete community service projects, think critically and learn that they can enact positive change in our world. In order to reach our sustainability goals, we are hoping for more resources so we can collectively grow as a staff and put new active and outdoor learning strategies into place. The resources selected were selected by classroom teachers dedicated to providing their students with an amazing and invigorating education.
