During individual and group counseling, I work with students on skills that they need to succeed in school and in life. Some of those skills include study skills, social skills, and coping skills for ADHD. I believe it is my job to help students deal with the "stuff" that gets in the way of their classroom learning, and having a comfortable counseling space for students to come would really allow me to better serve our students. Our school has graciously provided a space for group counseling, but I need comfortable seating and tools like fidget toys, crafting materials, and other supplies that help students to deal with anxiety, anger, and attention challenges so that our time can be used effectively and help my students. With your help I believe we can make a great impact on our students and offer them the support they deserve!
