This laptop will allow students to take turns throughout the week to get online to read actual articles that are happening around the world. There are many online websites that will even help read articles for struggling students. Students need to be aware of what's happening around them and by bringing this resource into the classroom they will have a better understanding of the outside world. I would love to incorporate this laptop usage during small groups. I have tried assigning these assignments for homework but most of my parents do not have a computer or laptop at home nor do they have access to our local library.
