I use math and reading centers to practice skills, encourage cooperation, and facilitate love for learning. Centers also allow me to differentiate for each student. I want to add to my centers with engaging, hands on activities and supplements to further my goal of students mastery of skills, learning new topics, and cooperative learning. The items listed will support my wonderfully different students with their variety of skills and interests. The wobble chair helps fidgety students who have difficulty focusing during center time or instruction time. The magnifying glasses, mirrors, and alphabet stamps will be used for sight word and CVC word practice centers but making it more engaging. The Teachers Pay Teachers center sets (that I’ve already purchased or were freebies) are centers I can print on astrobright paper and laminate to go along with these supplies and make more durable. The math insertable pocket dice can be used with so many centers that I create as well as the ready made games! The clipboards are for centers that allow the students to walk around and count, add, subtract, read sight words around the classroom. The double dice are for fun math centers. The magnetic wands and counters allow for students to segment words then blend while reading cvc words. Engaging and hands on activities are so important to this age group. THANK YOU for your help! :)
