My fourth graders need materials and resources to enhance their learning experience. In this project, a wide variety of materials and supplies are listed because my students need these items to learn and have fun while learning! My students love music and learn best when music is incorporated into their learning. Flocabulary is a great resource that students are drawn to! Learning topics are made into hip-hop and different music to draw students attention and increase their learning. Students work best when they can be "hands-on," mini dry-erase boards for each student could really foster their learning in math, reading, and other subjects! These can be used to help students work out problems, practice their writing/spelling, and to play games in groups. My students will also learn better in math if they have a strong number sense. The place value set would really help reinforce number sense to my students throughout the entire year. Practice makes perfect! Basic classroom supplies are limited and construction paper, markers, and paper organizers can help students learn and help students and their workspace stay organized. Lastly, recess is one of students' favorite parts of the day. Students enjoy this time even more if they have the equipment to play with together. My students love soccer and would love to be able to play a game with one another (and maybe with me too) which is why I'm requesting a playground ball and soccer ball. The stool requested in my project will be used by the students to use technology that is sitting on the high table.
