My co-teacher and I have created a math classroom that is full of energy and commitment! Year in, year out, we somehow, turn dozens of unwilling kids that are supposedly "bad at math" and "too cool" for it into full-blown math nerds! As a result of our kiddos' zest, we run through supplies quickly or we just don’t have the supplies we need. Our students are wonderful, dedicated learners who need an enriching math classroom to help them succeed. They learn the best by using hands-on manipulatives and participating in group activities. These supplies will give them the opportunities to provide these kinesthetic activities. By donating to this project, you will be providing our students with a collection of math manipulatives and teaching supports that will encourage their mathematics understanding and build their skills as well as build a positive classroom environment and wonderful learning experiences for our students.
