Engage our readers in books that can capture their imaginations and sew the seeds to becoming life-long lovers of reading. My students range from the reluctant and unconfident to the voracious and insatiable. The range of books that I have chosen covers this range as well as their interests. Speaking to what currently interests them is a helping hand to venturing out of their comfort zone and reading a different genre. Students are often surprised at how much they enjoyed a book that they would not have chosen for themselves. We have to try every avenue possible to light their interest and draw students into the world of reading. They get to travel in the minds and experiences of others through the world of reading, hence the title, "Book Your Trip, Now."
