We are creating a STEAM classroom to engage our students. We have four classrooms at our school which plan to rotate through the STEAM classroom. The Simmons acrylic paint brushes will give us the opportunity to introduce painting techniques to beginning artists. We plan to tie in painting on canvas and other surfaces such as stone and leaves to our STEAM program. One example is the image of a nebula on canvas using acrylic paints. Students will learn how to load paint onto their brushes, and stroke techniques to shade and highlight as they create their own personal masterpieces that they can display with pride.
