On a daily basis kindergarten practices high frequency words, composing/decomposing numbers, writing, adding, and subtracting. These things can get repetitive. We want to create an environment where it is fun and engaging. Students will get excited when the classroom is transformed into a glow in the dark atmosphere. We want to create words with glow in the dark sticks. They can write to 100 with invisible ink. They can add with the discs using glow in the dark tape. We will use these supplies for stations where students can rotate. For STEM activities students will build 3 dimensional shape with straws, and towers with the cups. We will use the sand and slime to review our 5 senses.
