Many of my students came to school this year with low levels of reading and math abilities. They love learning and enthusiastic about learning new things. Often times we don’t have enough resources for math and reading to help support them. Having more books for our library will make them so excited for independent reading time. More materials like clocks and fraction tiles for math will help them learn and grow in their math abilities and give them more confidence to show what they know. Several of my students have attention difficulties. The wobble chairs will give them an opportunity to work off some energy while staying focused on the work.
