Some students have a difficult time sitting still on chairs and staying on them. They frequently fall out of their chairs because they sit at the edge of the chair and rock. Some struggle with their wiggles and they need to move while doing seat work. We sit on chairs during writing, math, and other activities. Having the wobble chairs and wobble cushions will make a huge difference in the students' learning by allowing them to fulfill the movement that their body needs and complete their work. My whole class will also benefit by being able to have their own personal seating space. We have been scrunched together on a small carpet with limited seating space. My students will use their Joy Carpet rugs to work in areas they feel comfortable without being confined to just one specific area in the classroom. The Joy Carpet rug squares will allow my students to have enough room for themselves.
