I am trying to build a library of books to share with my younger students to increase literacy. The fifteen books I am requesting would be used in my PreK-5th grade classes. I have requested music books to share with them during their music lessons including books like Mole Music, Music Is, Reading Rainbow, etc. I am also trying to expose my upper elementary and middle school students to hands-on musical experiences and feel they would take away so much through participating in a ukulele ensemble. I have asked for a classroom set of Kala Makala ukuleles so that ALL students can be hands-on during instruction. The ukuleles would be used in my 3-8th grade classrooms. This project would benefit 550 students.
