The Bouncy Bands allow students to bounce their feet while they are seated in class. This should help them release extra energy that they may have due to ADHD, ADD, or just the fact that they are preteens in the beginning stages of puberty. Many of my regular ed and special ed students have excess energy, anxiety, and stress that needs to be released. Currently students wiggle a lot, get up and down out of their seats, and sometimes like to stand at their seat while working. My hope is that the Bouncy Bands will help alleviate some of these extra movements that can be distracting to their learning and the learning of others in the classroom.
