Zion Benton High School serves a extremely diverse population. We are a title I school that has a very high hispanic population. Within many of the classrooms I serve. The main mission is to set achievable expectations for the students and help them attain them. Running concurrent with that goal is establishing positive relationships with the students. This goes beyond the four walls of my classroom. I teach them to have respect and responsibility for themselves, others, and their families. Those positive relationships goes for their families as well. To help my students achieve their goals their parents must be along for the ride as well. Parents by in is essential to the success of any student.
