Due to the growth of our program, more and more students are getting involved in hands-on experiences with design. These tools (drills, batteries, and a jigsaw) will allow students to gain more experience in the classroom setting where they can learn to safely construct their own designs. Additional tools would ensure that every student has the opportunity to create and learn as they construct in a timely manner. Students will learn to operate a drill and saw using proper shop safety guidelines. They will learn how to properly measure and cut wood, how to build structurally sound sets for class and school projects, and how to create level, sturdy, and mobile set pieces that are pleasing to the eye.
