Our students are from Compton, CA. They come from a variety of backgrounds. These students are very curious and eager to learn despite the fact that they are underperforming on state tests. They need more experiences that allow teachers to facilitate their learning rather than lecture at them all day. They also need to take learn to develop a business sense and take pride and own a project that they have designed themselves.
