Students will be able to learn about math and reading easily with magnetic boards and supplies. They will increase their problem solving skills through games and STEM activities. My students will be super excited about the activities they can play in centers while I am working with a small group. Centers need to be interesting to first graders in order to keep their attention. I am the only teacher in my room during independent centers and my focus needs to be on the students in my group. During center time, I am confident students will be fully engaged while playing educational games and using higher order thinking to build and construct with their hands!
