My students love to read! When they finish a book, they want to begin a new one as soon as possible! My students are learning to read for information and enjoyment. In order to meet the needs of every reader, we need a variety of levels and genres available in our classroom. Third graders are eager to read informational books about animals, weather, and science. We also read biographies, historical ficiton, fantasy, and more. As I expose students to a variety of books, I want them to be able to select books from many different genres.
