My students struggle with reading comprehension. The materials I have chosen will help guide them to understanding texts as they are reading independently. I want to ensure that they have the ability to read and understand what they are reading when I am not there to guide them. I am also working to ensure that students are able to keep themselves on a schedule. I work with many different learners throughout the day and I need to ensure that students are able to transition to different activities throughout the day so I can make sure I am not wasting valuable time.
