I want to provide flexible seating in my classroom. With flexible seating, students are able to sit comfortably around the classroom to work on projects and class work. Students are allowed to chose where they sit and by whom, which makes learning fun. High energy students need to be able to sit and move around the classroom. By allowing students to choose where they sit, they make the commitment to learn in their own space. This allows them to work with and sit by students that they might not normally get to work with. Students in control of their learning space thrive with creativity and have less classroom behaviors.

About my class
