Many of my students continue to heal emotionally after the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey. After experiencing such a loss, it is important to have a nurturing and loving classroom to grow academically. Having Fire tablets provide a vast amount of diverse books accessible to my students. My students need book selections with differentiation capabilities while enjoying a safe, comfortable, and relaxing space to dive into a good story. The Fire tablets will allow my students to have a variety of books at their finger tips, with the ability to read a story aloud. Flexible seating options will provide my students a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a good story. Third grade is a crucial age in a young reader's education where a love of learning is born and nurtured, and I get to be a part of that discovery.
