My students will use these pillows, wobble cushions, balance balls, and wobble chairs to help enhance the academic focus and eliminate distractions that would otherwise hinder their learning in a classroom setting. Giving my students the ability to choose the most comfortable place for them to learn will give them the power of choice and sense of accountability and ownership. I want for them to feel a sense of ownership not only by being able to choose where they sit, but taking ownership and for their educational growth as well. Having a mindset where they are being held more accountable for their actions and academic growth will help create a collaborative classroom environment where all students are eager and ready to learn. By donating to this project, you will not only help improve student engagement, but you will be giving them the ability to get their "wiggles out" and keep them focused on their academics.
