Dougherty Comprehensive High School is a Fine Arts school that offers dance, drama, orchestra, band, and chorus. The students that attend our school are some of the most talented yet under-served children in our community. Though the students are offered a dance class, the class is not funded. Therefore, students are required to purchase their own dance materials. Dance students perform around campus and within the community, as well as, competing in programs such as Georgia Governors Honors Program. The dance department services upwards of 150 students during the regular school day. Students may take 3 years of dance to complete their Fine Arts pathway.
