I have many children who have ADHD and they have made the decision to not medicate. Many classes that these students are in do not accommodate them, so by the time they are in my last period class they are SO excited and all of that energy is blasting out into my room. These desks will give my students the opportunity to get up out of their seats and work comfortably at their desks. I believe this will help accelerate their learning and help them focus on the material better. My 7th graders really need an outlet for their energy and I think this is one way to do it!
