These books will give my young classroom library a hefty boost! I've chosen titles from a variety of levels of complexity and genres, including many that students have asked for by name. I want my students to become readers for life. To do this, I must provide them with high-quality books that interest them, that make them want to do the thinking work I will lead them to, then pick up the next book I recommend. I can teach students what it means to live a reading life and why such a life is wonderful, but I can only do it with great books. Thank you for helping me get great books into the hands of my students!
