The need for a document camera and a projector in our classroom will be beneficial to our students learning. It will expose students to new technology as our school only has one projector that is used as a teacher training tool. As we move towards a more technology driven society it is important to not forget our students in low income schools and communities. This document camera and projector will help me provide unique experiences during my Science and Social Studies lessons. It will allow me to project books so students can identify and make connections between spoken language and print.
