As a charter school, we have a very limited budget for art materials. I hope to begin the year well stocked to offer our students authentic art classes with quality materials. Our school is nestled along the coast of Maine, where there is infinite inspiration for watercolor painting. I plan to teach our students watercolor techniques while they sit in the forests, fields, and sitting along the coves and shore of our town. Stamp and print making are another medium I hope to introduce to students. The beauty of stamp making is the nature of imperfection; an important element in art!
