In recent years, graphic novels have grown in popularity and have become valuable tools for engaging reluctant readers and non-English speaking students. I work in a school with students who have low interest in reading. They have difficulty finding a book that keeps their interest. Therefore, these students would benefit from the addition of more graphic novels in our school library. My project is a way to acknowledge that all students are readers searching for the right book. For a growing number of students, the right book is a graphic novel. Graphic novels are in high demand in the school library; however, there are not enough books to check out to students. In this project, I have included both fiction and nonfiction graphic novels from a variety of genres.
