My ELL kindergarten students are in a low-income Title 1 school district. My students are faced with several challenges both inside and outside of the classroom. Many students are raised in a single family household and do not speak English at home. Most receive free or reduced lunch based on their socioeconomic status. My classroom is multicultural with diverse learners. Students in school continuously engage collaboratively with peers, learning to be considerate, motivated and successful in a positive manner.
