Having an organized classroom library will allow my students to access a variety of new reading materials independently. The use of the Neon Help Yourself Book Bins will allow me to display both picture and chapter books in my classroom library. Multiple bins and books sorted by subject will allow my students to read about the topics that they are interested in and become invested in what they are reading! I will also be able to organize chapter books by reading level, so that my students will have the opportunity to choose just right books for themselves!
The ability to choose their own books at their reading level will give my students independence as readers. When my students can choose their own books to read from an organized classroom library, their confidence as readers will grow! My students will also be able to use the Connect & Share book bins to store some of the books that they are reading. This will give my students the ability to find a place in the classroom with their book bin, and settle in for independent reading time! Providing the opportunity to access a wide variety of literature materials starts with an organized classroom library!
