Outdoor play is essential for young children's learning. We try to spend most of the day outside in nice weather allowing children to explore the world, nurturing their need for nature. These ramps will be a great contribution to our outdoor classroom, providing more opportunities to discover concepts of weight, motion, and force and how they go together. The ramps will allow the students to explore the simple machine by constructing them and then using them to test different objects from their environments, such as balls, rocks and toy trucks. Students will learn how to ask important questions to guide their learning and demonstrate what they know.

About my class
