The balls, cushions, mats, and ground level chairs will help bring the eye level down in my classroom so all of my students of all physical abilities can learn more comfortably. I will be able to lower the desks to create a safer and physically friendly classroom for students of all sizes. With ground level seating, my physically challenged students will be able to focus more on their work and learning, and not have to worry about availability and access to materials and surfaces. Not only will this benefit my students with disabilities, but will also give my students more ownership in their learning environment. Giving them a seating choice and appealing work area will make school more approachable and increase productivity in our classroom.
