Welcome to my classroom! After teaching for three years in Mississippi, I have moved to Nashville where I am teaching 5th grade science. My new scholars are incredibly motivated, intelligent and hard working. Most of my students are first or second generation immigrants to the US and love to soak up as much knowledge as possible. The especially love science because it allows them to answer questions about the world around them and requires them to think about what they have seen before. We are working on being HOT scientists this year, and applying our Higher Order Thinking skills to always provide evidence and justify our reasoning. I adore my new 5th graders and I'm so excited to push them to achieve great things!
