My students need activities to keep them engaged during small group rotations. Using these materials during independent center time will allow for differentiation of instruction. Having the Alphabet Sounds Teaching tubs will provide a visual representation of letter sounds and can be included during writing instruction. The Match-A-Sound Phonemic Awareness boxes, the Fill-In-The-Blank Magnetic Tins, and the Magnetic Sound Sorting boards provide emphasis on beginning, ending or rhyming sounds. These manipulatives provide a hands-on approach to learning. The Building Words sets will enhance students CVC word knowledge and provide opportunities for students to practice beginning, middle, and ending sounds. The Roll and Read Blends and Digraphs game give higher level instruction to those students who can work more independently during word work rotations.
