With this resource, students will be able to manage assignments, and allow students to monitor their own progress in real time. And I won't have to compete with other teachers for digital access. Although studies have shown that students need tactile, 3D learning experiences (via books, pencil, paper ...), they also need the many advantages and benefits of digital learning provided by a myriad of  great online resources like Noredink, Newsela, Padlet, Kahoot, Quizlet ... and of course research (cross referencing "credible" sources).   Not only will consistent digital access provide  engaging and differentiated activities necessary for diverse learning styles, but it will also offer the opportunity for them to explore skills that are necessary to navigate a increasingly complex and volatile world. By  students utilizing the vast reservoir of resources on the world web, I can implement authentic 21st century learning.
