I believe learning through hands-on experiences is powerful. Retention rates are higher and student engagement is stronger. Using these resources students will be able to have a hands-on connection with math, critical thinking skills, and art. Being able to have students work as a group with a whiteboard keeps them engaged and learning. They are all working on a problem instead of just one or two individuals and students love writing on whiteboards! It would be lovely to have the glare shade blinds to minimize the intense light in the classroom making it a more comforting and relaxing learning environment. Lastly, it has been years since I have been able to use watercolors, as they are not part of the district supply list and I haven't had the funds to obtain them, students love seeing what watercolors can do with different mediums, wax, salt, saran wrap and more! I can't wait to get some of these items and make my classroom vibrant again! Thank you.
