Due to the growing use of technology, my students now have a one to one ChromeBook devices to use throughout the school day. Having a one to one device allows to students to personal their experience, broaden their learning, and reduce the use of paper throughout their classes. Flexible seating also allows students to customize their day and sit in the chair that best supports them while learning. Personalized learning is important for all humans as we all learn at different rates, with different materials, and in different ways. With the number of students and one to one device, we have ran into trouble storing and charing the devices. In many rooms, ChromeBooks can be found on counters, floors, or with tangled charging cords. This puts the devices at an increased risk for damage. Having a storage charging cart would reduce the risk for damage and allow each students devices to be charged in the classroom. It will allow for more activities as the cart will help store all ChromeBooks in one small area. The tall stools will help with the flexible seating that I have already started in my classroom and will help students have more options to pick the spot that will help them learn and grow the best!
