At our school, we have dedicated students with the desire to learn, and teachers willing to help these students reach for their dreams. In a high poverty area, our students live with the challenges most of read about. Facing poverty, hunger, abuse and neglect; school is one place the students know they will be safe and cared for; warm, as well as fed. As teachers, we strive for academic excellence, and creating the best environment we can to engage the minds of our students. This class is made up of seventh and eighth grade students all reading significantly below grade level.

About my class
