I am requesting wall dividers for a distraction free work environment as well as reduce sound in our classroom These partitions will provide me with the opportunity to transform my classroom into a more productive learning environment for all of my students. It can be hard for my students to stay focused on the task at hand (let's face it, they're three-year-olds) and visual and auditory distractions are the most difficult barriers to overcome. By breaking my room into smaller sections I can create individual spaces for each student to do their best work. My students thrive in an environment that is able to meet their unique sensory needs and learning profiles. I have tried using different partitions and ways of breaking up my classroom but many of them are heavy and unstable, making them a huge safety concern for my little learners. These partitions can be magnetized to the wall to not only ensure safety but allow for flexibility if I do need to move them as my classroom grows (I get new students throughout the school year as they turn three). I can't thank you enough for even just taking the time to read about my DonorsChoose project. If you yourself aren't able to donate please consider spreading the word to friends and family!
