The students assigned to my classroom are special education students with a variety of disabilities. The grades range from kindergarten through fourth grade but the level of abilities and skills are very low. It is remarkable how much these students can learn with individualized instruction and the right materials. Any thing that promotes making reading enjoyable and attainable is paramount for these students who already are at a disadvantage.
