My kids come into my class knowing nothing about clay. I want to open their eyes to pottery world by providing them a class on ceramics. My kids will learn to use a potter's wheel to create a vessel to drink from; they can give it to a parent or keep it for themselves. It will not deteriorate or fade like a painting- it will last forever. This reminder of their creative success will eternally empower them to do anything in this world. I have high expectations for them and seek to provide scaffolding to enable them to improve their critical thinking and problem solving skills. This type of success is vital for them to experience. Help me show this to them.
