The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in preparing students to pursue culinary career fields from food cost analysis to design the next great menu. I focus on student focused learning strategies where students are assigned jobs and to a team to accomplish project based learning. Their teams need the flexibility of their work space to plan, prepare, and execute their ideas. It starts with being comfortable to spark ideas...flexible seating can do just that! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their critical thinking and probably solving strategies! Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand and apply their own creative touches to the projects assigned. Students in flexible seating classes are more engaged in lessons. Movement encourages students to be more productive. It also makes learning more fun!
