These high quality materials such as alphabet teaching tubs, pose and play families and language activity boxes,will create opportunities for my students to work hands on with materials that will increase their success at school. Play based learning has been proven with research that it is effective. Play is very important for healthy brain development. I have a few students who do not speak English in my classroom this year and a handful of students who will need extra support, this will give them the opportunities they need to learn and be successful. These materials will create opportunities to play and socialize with other students, count, and sort items by their letter sounds.
