These “magazines” that I chose will help enrich and build background knowledge with my second language learners. Most students do not have much access to printed materials outside the classroom and this learning material will reinforce the skills taught. Students will learn, review, and discuss the set topic of the month. Then students will take the material/magazine home to read to their parents or other family members...and hopefully, students will enjoy learning and turnkey the new information. The “take-home” supplies I am asking for, are for students to enjoy reading and learning from a monthly magazine dealing with current events, that are age-appropriate.
