Students will enjoy the listening center during our reading stations each morning. Pairs of students will be able to listen to a book that goes along with the weekly theme. Students will be able to relax instead of working so hard to get through the book. This will allow them to hear rich examples of fluent reading. It will also aid in reading comprehension. They will be given time to discuss the book together as well. As a teacher I like to expose my students to as many books as I can each day. This will allow students to be exposed to even more than I personally have time to read to them. They will love being able to independently work the listening center. I suspect students will be asking to use the listening center at different times throughout the week as well. Thank you for considering this donation.
