My students learn better with multi-sensory approaches that involve visuals, tactile cues, and manipulation of objects. The prepositional word box and story box will help develop and enrich my students language skills. The materials will be used to expand their understanding and use of language in the classroom. These resources will help provide a multi-sensory approach to developing and effectively using language. Many of my students have autism and providing a calming space with resting pads, where they can take a break when needed, is important in preventing communication breakdowns. The countdown timer will help tremendously with my students who have difficulty transitioning between activities.
