The cluster program is looking to gain support in launching a coffee cart! Coffee, tea, and snacks will be sold to teachers. The cluster students, along with the help from some student council members, will make the coffee or tea as well as deliver it to the teachers. This project will help students apply social skills, communication skills, functional math skills, and job training skills. Students will receive instruction on how to greet customers, make change, and fulfill orders. All of these skills will help the students after their experience in high school. They will take data on how much we sell and all of the profit from this cart will go into costs things such as field trips, Special Olympics, community trips, and sensory items for the classroom.
