Students will learn to love to read through a library that is filled with all levels of books with a wide range of topics. Research shows that students are more prone to continue to practice their reading skills when they have books that interest them and are at their just right level. A kindergarten classroom is bound to have students that are at the pre-reading stage all the way to reading small books. All students should feel that they have books that are comfortable for them to read no matter what stage of reader they are at. I hope to start their love of reading from the minute they enter my classroom.
